This research explores the impact of online whiteboard tools on design students with different personality traits during in-person critique sessions. By conducting surveys, interviews, and analyzing existing tools, a new tool is proposed to address challenges such as feedback, time limitations, awkwardness, tension, and anonymity. The study aims to enhance higher design education by promoting effective interaction and providing tailored support. The research outcome contributes to the development of an online whiteboard tool for design critiques, improving critique sessions and student learning.
