Foraging has gained popularity over the past few decades but has been unexplored through soft-good design allowing for an opportunity for our team to imagine what the future of this niche could look like. Our design goals came from three main issues we identified during our research which are access, storage, and versatility. By satisfying each objective with separated compartments for foraged goods, roll-out storage, comfortable straps and weather proof materials our team was able to make an ultralight backpack that solves the needs of storage and usability for foragers.
